Whether you are training for a specific recreational activity or sport, or just wanting a healthier lifestyle, our programs are created to insure you reach your fitness and wellness goals, by facilitating the process so that you are exercising safely and with professional instruction.

John M. Shanebrook created Personal Evolution Programs (PEP) in 2000 to help adults achieve their fitness and wellness goals.  As one of Lake Oswego's most popular fitness programs, PEP quickly became the de-facto standard for busy professionals.

John has been a fitness educator and coach for over 30 years, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise/Sports Science and Recreation Management from the University of Idaho, and has been certified as a Personal Trainer with the National Strength & Conditioning Association since 1994.

Having trained hundreds of individuals, John has a unique perspective on the broad range of issues we all face in achieving our fitness and wellness goals. He can help you realize your goals by creating a comprehensive training program that addresses overall motivation, muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular capacity, mobility and balance, muscle flexibility, enhanced resistance to joint injury, improved recovery time, and nutrition.
